I am all happy about Yuletide and want to post a poll, plus the dollar is near parity with the US dollar, so I bought six months paid time for my DW account. (A note to my LJ readers - I have begun crossposting everything from DW. I should probably get around to putting a link to my DW posts on my LJ posts, so you can see any comments people make to my DW posts.)

I love Yuletide, but this year has been so stressful that I'm seriously considering giving it a miss.

Yeah, sometimes you get more enjoyment from things if you cut back. And it's also lots of fun to chat about yuletide and read all the lovely small fandom fic.

Make that, "I have been planning my requests since January." (When I get ideas for Yuletide, I post them privately to my journal, tagged for easy finding in the fall. Every year since I started doing this, I've gotten my first idea in January. Apparently my brain spends January in highly sensitive small-fandom-seeking mode.)

That is a good idea! You are very organised. (Although I tell myself that forgetting fandoms that I would have requested things for means I only ask for things I really care about, and as it is I have a short list of eight. Or maybe nine. *is indecisive*)

I will read and leave comments, but probably only ten or so fics, not a crazy huge number. Christmas ends up being family time so fannish time tends to shrink.

I usually do family stuff on Christmas and then less so afterwards, which leaves time for fic. But I can understand being too busy, and it's not like the fic disappears at midnight.
