Going away, yuletide and other things

Tomorrow I going away on a cruise to the South Pacific until after Christmas. I am all excited! I have never been on a cruise before and I have always wanted to. But I am also a bit stressed about getting everything packed in time. I am mostly packed but there are always annoying fiddly last minute things to do. In my case that also included backing lemon meringue tarts for work morning tea tomorrow and finishing/uploading my Yuletide fic, ha.

I have not quite finished it - there are a few formating and minor edits I want to make - but it is close enough to done that I felt comfortable uploading. I have gone through the omg it's wonderful/omg what am I inflicting on my recipient stages of writing and wound up at the reasonably satisfied stage. (I just said a couple of things just now and then deleted them as I realised they were spoilery. It will have to wait until post reveal!) I hope my recipient likes it.


Now, a note for my yuletide author: I will be away from my keyboard until a few days after Christmas, and so will not be able to check the archive straight away! So there will be no comment from me for a little while, but not because I hate your story! I am already super excited to see what you have written for my tiny tiny fandom. ♥
