Weirdly, directly after posting yesterday's entry I lost all signal on my iPad, so here is what should have been yesterday's post.

In unrelated news, I went swimming yesterday and it was lovely, if a bit chilly. I went to the hot springs afterwards and spent the longest time I have ever managed in the hottest pool they have, which is 40+ degrees, thawing out.

Baby bat! That's adorable! I went in a 42 degree onsen in Japan and I have never been so pink in my life! I think I prefer them a bit cooler than that.

Normally I walk in and can only stand to keep below my knee in it! I must have been cooler than I realized after being in the sea. Although I did have to get out after a bit when I started feeling a little queasy. It was good though because I walked on to the next pool and there was a beautifully glossy big raven right next to the path.
