dzurladyI have been super busy and tonight a video project I have been editing has been super stubborn and then crashed when I asked it to save my work and took a substantial chunk of my progress with it; ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH no jules I will not feed you now is a bad time.
Anyway, the upcoming week is also super busy so rather than writing a post with actual content, I will note a couple of things that have amused me recently.
1. The guy who stood directly in front of the train door, blocking the way out for everyone getting off, only to spring inside, take one step to the left and stand right in the doorway of the train where everyone was trying to get on. I'm glad you were in such a hurry to get in everyone's way, dude. That was a prime spot that someone might have taken, and not, say, exactly like the unoccupied other side of the train.
2. The other day at work I got an email which in the history had an email from someone called Filomena (or something like that, not sure if I've remembered the spelling right). It was pretty late and all my coworkers had gone home, so I absently started singing Though Philomena lost her love which is good fun to sing and quite earwormy, and also has a lot of 'fa la la's in it. So I am singing, and I have sung a reasonable amount of the song and several fa la las, not loudly but not quietly either; indeed at a volume readily audible from about two meters away, where it turns out there was someone else sitting on the other side of the partition from my desk. I had forgotten they might be there. Oh dear.
