Decisions on cakes
Apr. 15th, 2011 10:17 pmSo for some time I have wanted to make two cakes - a treasure island/pirate cake, and a Melbourne Heart/football cake. I have slowly accumulated the necessary decorations to make them, and have been waiting for an occasion where a cake is warranted.

mawaridi is having a dessert birthday party1 where people bring along baked goods. Clearly this is the perfect opportunity to make one of these cakes. (And excellent fun. I still think fondly of the mini mars bar cakes I made for the last one she hosted; totes delicious.) The question is, which one should I choose to make?
I am probably slightly more excited about the football/Melbourne Heart cake. However, there is a problem with this, and I have made a graph to illustrate my point:

So I suppose it will be the pirate cake. It will be amazing, people. (I hope.)
1My co-worker suggested I should make a cake shaped like a camel, and say that I thought it was a desert party. Hee.
